The plasticizing units developed by M.T. Meccanica Trecatese S.r.l. represent an essential, custom-engineered technological solution for the plastic material extrusion process. They include base, screw, barrel, motor, gearbox, and cooling/heating system. The absence of an electrical panel allows for space optimization and makes it a combined machine with the solutions the customer wants to implement, such as blow molding, film lines, etc.

From a technical standpoint, the range offered covers a wide spectrum of L/D ratios, with diameters starting from a minimum size of Ø 12 mm up to a maximum of Ø 160 mm.
